A few tools of the trade along with a few unique offerings.

These are a few of the main items I own and operate. In addition to these, I own many additional support items such as Teradek, EasyRig, jib, and more.

Red Gemini 5K

The RED DSMC2 Gemini has a 5K sensor capable of capturing up to 96fps in 5K RAW. The Gemini also has a dual native ISO function for cleaner low light performance.

Sony FS7

The Sony FS7 makes a great documentary camera with its built-in ND filters and XLR inputs. Compressed 4K files help keep the data sizes at a minimum.

Movi Pro and Pilot

The Movi Pro gimbal can handle the FS7, RED, and more. Two lens motors give control over focus and zoom. Includes IgniteDigi offset arms and battery adapters for better performance.

The CamBlock Adventure system is compact motion control unit that is programmable and repeatable for specialty shots such as visual effects, time-lapse, and stop motion. Has the ability to keyframe the dolly, tilt, and pan axes, as well as additional lens motors for focus, iris, and zoom control. Includes RED control cable, Sony and Canon DSLR trigger cables, and an LED light for frame-syncing non-trigger cameras (Arri Alexa, FS7)

One of the most unique capabilities of this system is its ability to create “interwoven” time-lapse shots. While other time-lapse devices wait idly between shots, the CamBlock will take shots for additional programmed timelapses during the wait. This is an example on a documentary style shoot where we had only had one opportunity to grab time-lapses for an event in Kentucky and we were able to capture historical landmarks as well as crew setting up the street for the event by interweaving three programmed moves.
